FAQs
For a fitted top or vest, which areas require the most dressing aid?
The shoulders and armholes. Due to the stretching required over broad shoulders and defined biceps (for sleeved tops), you must apply a generous amount of silicone dressing aid (lube) or talcum powder to the interior. Concentrate the product on the shoulder seams and armholes/cuffs to minimize friction and prevent tearing at stress points.
How do I prevent sweat and body oils from damaging the interior of the latex top?
Immediate and thorough washing of the interior is mandatory. Sweat and body oils degrade latex rapidly. Immediately after wearing, hand wash the garment with a dedicated latex cleaner or mild soap. Ensure the interior is completely rinsed (repeatedly) to remove all sweat residue, then hang it inside-out to dry fully.
How can I safely pull down or adjust the hem or neckline without tearing the material with my fingernails?
Always use the flat of your palm or the pad of your fingers. Latex tops are highly vulnerable to tears from sharp fingernails, especially along the thin hems, collars, or zippers. Use the flat, soft part of your palm or the flesh of your fingertips to push or pull the material, never the tip of your nail.
Why is precise chest and shoulder measurement critical for men's latex tops?
To ensure proper seam alignment and prevent tearing. If the top is too small across the chest, it creates severe stress on the underarm and side seams, leading to tears. Accurate measurements ensure the seams sit correctly and the top conforms to your musculature without placing undue tension on the material, especially across the back and shoulder blades.
